Instructions
Prep in Advance:
- Measure your 1/4 cup butter out
- Boil some water in the kettle (a minimum amount so long as it’s above the minimum fill line)
- Grab a bowl or mug big enough to sit over the butter, and fill it with the boiling water. Leave it aside.
- Mince 4 cloves garlic using your knife
- Pour the boiling water out of your mug or bowl
- Now put the butter on a plate or board and put the now warm mug or bowl upside down and over the butter. Leave it like that and the warmth will soften the butter, which is exactly what we want!
- Thinly slice your chicken if using. Remember, use a plastic board, wash your hands before and after cutting up the chicken, and do not cross contaminate. You can alternatively use kitchen scissors to cut up the chicken.
- If using prawns, peel your prawns, leaving the heads on if you would like a better looking meal at the end.
- Finely chop 2 cloves garlic and set a side in a separate bowl
- Finely chop 1 tablespoon parsley and set aside with the chopped garlic
- Mix 2 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar in a bowl then set aside
